I just finished watching the documentary about Sharon on Netflix not more than an hour ago. I am so sorry to hear that she passed away, she fought so hard. So did her family members, her friends, her bandmates, and her doctors and nutritionists. I really wish I could have seen her in concert.

Saw her perform in Davis, CA, and it was the most life-changing concert I've ever witnessed. She will be dearly missed.

I had the opportunity to see Sharon perform in Augusta Georgia at the Westabou. What a powerhouse performance. We will miss you Sharon, rest in peace.

Thank you for sharing your grace, strength and gifts. Your music has been a source of strength through the trials, joy through the celebrations, and an eternal reminder of your legacy. How much better the World is for experiencing your artistry, Ms. Jones.

I first heard and saw Sharon Jones on an episode of Luke Cage and loved the song 100 days, 100 nights. I still didn't make the connection until I was just looking for something to watch on Neflix and saw the Miss Sharon Jones documentary. Then I heard the song again. From the start I was glued to my Ipad and immediately fell in love with her. She's a power house. It's like the stage unleashed something in her. When she wasn't performing she seemed like a totally different person. That's the power of music, and that's exactly how Sharon used her talent - to uplift and give hope no matter what you're facing in life. I was intrigued to learn more about the group and that's when I discovered she had lost her battle. I'm so crushed but while she was here with us, she was a good steward of her gift. And we are all more blessed because of it. What more could you ask for. Rest well Miss Sharon.

Sharon I will never forget you and the Dap Kings lifting the roof off the Wellington Opera House a few years back. I never witnessed such an exuberantly heart and soul larger than life performance. You were a beautiful and powerful presence on that stage and in this life. It's been too hard to listen to you since you passed and my love goes out to your friends, family and the Daptone community who were obviously both to you. No other performer or band on the planet comes close. Everything you sang about you embodied in life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you shared with me and millions of others through your courage, vulnerability, humour, power and your soul shaking talent. Peace and Much love - Neil Crowe
